About Made In
Made In is a direct-to-consumer cookware company founded in Austin, Texas, in 2017 by Chip Malt and Jake Kalick, whose family had been in the restaurant-supply business for generations. The brand works with established European and American factories and sells to professional kitchens as well as home cooks, with stainless clad, carbon steel, enameled cast iron, and nonstick lines.
Made In publishes the ply count, steel grade, and thickness for its stainless clad pieces, which are made in Italy and the US. The stainless clad line has no coating at all, so it is the inert, buy-once side of the range; the brand also sells PTFE nonstick, which this directory does not list, so check the line before you assume a Made In pan is uncoated.
