About AspenClean
AspenClean is a family-run Canadian company founded in 2004 in Vancouver by Alicia and Chris Sokolowski, who wanted safe, effective cleaners for their own family and also run an eco house-cleaning service. It makes laundry detergents, dish soaps, and surface cleaners with full ingredient transparency.
Its laundry powder is EWG Verified, confirmed through EWG as one of the first cleaning products to earn that mark, meaning it meets the Environmental Working Group's strictest ingredient-safety and disclosure standards, and the brand also states Ecocert and Leaping Bunny certification. It is premium-priced, and the powder in compostable packaging is the low-plastic hero, while liquids and refills carry more plastic and cross-border shipping adds cost for US buyers.
