Klean Kanteen is a family- and employee-owned California company founded in 2004 in Chico that helped start the reusable stainless steel bottle category. It makes water bottles, insulated tumblers, cups, food canisters, and steel straws.
It is a certified B Corp and carries the Climate Label for measured and offset carbon, both confirmed in their registries, and it is a longtime member of 1% for the Planet. The bottle bodies are stainless steel, but many caps and lids contain plastic, so it is low-plastic rather than fully plastic-free unless you choose an all-stainless cap.
