About Verve Culture
Verve Culture is a women-owned company run by a three-generation team, Jacquie Lewis, Jules Vertrees, and Sarah Laping, that works with artisan partners around the world to sell traditional craft goods. This ladle is made in Umbria, Italy, where the company's partners carve each piece from a single block of Italian olive wood. Olivewood is dense and tightly grained, which is why it holds up well against stains and odors, and the ladle is finished with oil and safe to use on nonstick, glass, and porcelain. Care is simple: hand wash and re-oil occasionally with olive or mineral oil. It is a mid-priced everyday tool with old-world character, and each piece varies because of the natural grain.
