About Radius
Radius was started around 1982 by architects Kevin Foley and James O'Halloran, who sketched a better-designed toothbrush on a Caribbean beach and self-funded it through friends and family after ad agencies passed. Now made in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, it makes toothbrushes, floss, floss picks, and bathroom accessories, led by its oval-head Original brush.
The company is woman-owned and led by CEO Saskia Foley, a co-founder's daughter, and it is a certified B Corp, confirmed in B Lab's registry, with solar power on its US factory. The reusable-handle brush with replaceable heads is its lowest-waste product, while the EcoClean floss picks, though partly plant-based, are still a single-use plastic item.
