About Plaine Products
Plaine Products is a sister-owned company founded in 2017 in the Cincinnati area by Lindsey McCoy and her sister Ali, after Lindsey saw plastic pollution firsthand living in the Bahamas. It makes salon-quality hair and body care in refillable aluminum bottles you send back to be cleaned and reused.
It is a certified B Corp, confirmed in B Lab's registry, and states it is a woman-owned business, Leaping Bunny cruelty-free, and a member of 1% for the Planet. The refill-and-return model keeps the aluminum bottle in use for years, and it sits at a premium price.
