About Molly's Suds
Molly's Suds was founded in 2008 by Monica Leonard, a pediatric nurse who started it after the stillbirth of her daughter Molly and her realization that only a tiny fraction of the chemicals in everyday products have been tested for safety. The woman-owned company makes plant-based, fragrance-free laundry powder, liquid, and pods along with stain removers and household cleaners.
Its mission is to formulate with the purest ingredients possible, free of known human toxins, and it publishes the CAS number for every ingredient so shoppers can look them up. It holds no third-party certification, leaning on that ingredient transparency instead, and the unscented powder in its cardboard carton is the lowest-plastic option, while the pods use a dissolvable film and the liquids come in plastic.
