Humble Brands Deodorant, Aluminum Free
Humble Brands
Deodorant, Aluminum Free
Formula transparency is excellent. Because the retail listing does not say which tube ships, we score conservatively until the tube is confirmed.
A four-ingredient deodorant from a small New Mexico maker. The catch: the brand sells two tube types, and only one is stated plastic-free.

About Humble Brands
Humble Brands was founded in 2015 by Jeff Shardell in Taos, New Mexico, who was not trying to start a company but simply wanted an aluminum-free deodorant that worked, and grew his kitchen experiments into a brand now carried in thousands of stores. It makes aluminum-free deodorant, including a baking-soda-free version for sensitive skin, along with bar soap and lip balm.
Its approach is minimalist, with a stated rule that every ingredient has to earn its place, and it states it is Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free. The brand sells its deodorant in two formats, a plastic-free paper tube and a standard plastic tube, so the paper-tube version is the low-plastic pick.
