About Everist
Everist is a woman-founded Canadian company based in Toronto, started around 2020 by Jayme Jenkins and Jessica Stevenson, two beauty-industry veterans who asked why the industry ships heavy, water-filled products in plastic around the world. It makes waterless hair and body concentrates, plus a konjac body sponge, that you activate with water at home, all packaged in recycled aluminum.
The brand states it is Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free and offsets its carbon through ocean-restoration partners. One correction worth noting: despite a B-sounding description elsewhere, Everist does not claim to be a certified B Corp, so it should not be listed as one; the whole waterless, aluminum-packaged line is its low-plastic play, though the concentrated format is an adjustment from ready-to-use liquids.
