About Branch Basics

Branch Basics is a cleaning company founded in 2012 by three women, Marilee Nelson, Allison Evans, and Kelly Love, after Allison's chronic health problems eased in Marilee's toxin-free home; Marilee had studied environmental toxins for years following a chemical injury in her own family. Its core product is a plant- and mineral-based Concentrate you dilute into refillable bottles for all-purpose, bathroom, and laundry cleaning, alongside an oxygen booster and hand soap.

The Concentrate is MADE SAFE certified and EWG Verified, both confirmed in those programs' registries, meaning it is screened against ingredients known to harm health and meets strict ingredient-safety and transparency standards, and the line is Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free. The model is fragrance-free and centered on human safety rather than disinfectant kill-claims, and one Concentrate bottle makes many cleaners, so it costs more up front but little per use.
