About HEVEA
HEVEA began in Copenhagen in 2008, when founder Terese, newly a mother to her firstborn daughter Augusta, could not find baby products that matched her values and worked with a designer to create the brand's first natural rubber pacifier, launching the company and its first collection in 2009. The Danish brand now makes natural rubber pacifiers, teethers, bath toys, and bottle nipples, plus rubber goods for adults and pets. It describes its work as developing non-toxic, plastic-free alternatives wherever there is a real gap to fill, and it is a Certified B Corporation, an independent verification of a company's overall social and environmental practices, listed in the B Lab registry since December 2022. Design is premium Danish and priced accordingly. The honest notes with natural rubber: it is a latex product, so it is unsuitable for babies with latex allergies, and soft rubber wears out faster than silicone.
