About U-Konserve
U-Konserve is a reusable food-storage brand founded in 2008 by two friends, Lynn Julian and Chance Claxton, who believed small changes add up and created an early zero-waste school lunch kit. It makes stainless steel containers, lunch kits, silicone lids and bags, and reusable straws.
Its stated mission is reusing more, wasting less, and raising awareness about single-use plastic, and it says it is a member of 1% for the Planet, giving 1% of sales to environmental causes, though that membership was not independently confirmed here. Its products are stainless and silicone reusables rather than disposables.
